All Afield Hike - Dreamy Draw

Join AWF on our monthly All Field Hike! This month, we'll be going to Dreamy Draw Recreation Area, which surrounds the base of the 2,608-foot Piestewa Peak and is a gorgeous gateway to Sonoran desert wildlife. We will be hiking the Dreamy Draw Short Loop, which is a 2-mile loop with a small elevation change of 298 feet. This moderately challenging hike has some rocky portions and occasional steep inclines.

On our hike, we will be utilizing the mobile app INaturalist to identify plants. This time of year brings many native wildflowers that we can identify. Be sure to download this app prior to the hike! Meet AWF Staff Member, Elise, near the area of the parking lot where there are several stairs/ramps going up.

Note - This area is dog-friendly, but be sure to leash any furry friends.
